

The machine has another hard disk, which has another windows 10 installed, which was used prior to the migration. The file has been checked for viruses and appears OK. It reset the settings but the very same crash experience. I have deleted stored user setting, trying to reset 3ds max 2022. The same procedure were repeated couple of time - new scene - empty - do nothing -crash. After the 3rd-4th crash decided to start a new scene and to my amusement 3ds max started with 2 GB RAM consumption and in a matter of 7-10 minutes it reached 20 GB and crashed again. The situation - if open a file with data inside and start working on it soon it reaches 20 + GB of RAM consumption even though I am doing nothing but plain spline editing. The only difference since yesterday is moving to Indie license. The very same files were working fine on the very same machine with very same 3ds max 2022 and plugins. The user experience has been fine until today faced an issue which initially linked to the file/project currently working on. RAM has been memory diagnosed and it is working fine. The system is dual Xeon v4, with 128 GB ECC Reg RAM, and GTX 1070 Ti. Windows 10 has been recently reinstalled a week ago. Since beginning of this year decided to migrate to 3ds max 2022.3 and can only say it is far from stable, not to mention rather slow. Don't Know what they did, but my scene is untouched - no fancy materials, all Indoor, no Lightdome. Just Loading the scene after install and hit render: I installed one after another 3.6, Next, and 5. When I have Time I can send you this Scene, wich I showed also here (link) - there is a screenshot, which shows the render times as a screenshot.

Every time someone says something like this we request scenes, then either there are no scenes sent over or the ones that we receive render the same in terms of quality/time ratio. I really haven't seen actual data that confirms any for those statements.
